New gel promises fast shingles pain relief in minutes

Summary
This study tests a special gel applied to the skin to see if it can quickly reduce pain from shingles. About 30 adults with shingles pain will get one application of the gel. The main goal is to see if pain drops within 2 minutes and stays lower for 24 hours.
