First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether choosing antibiotics based on lab tests (personalized) works better than standard antibiotic combinations for people whose H. pylori infection did not clear with first treatment. About 450 adults who failed prior therapy will be randomly assigned to one of two rescue regimens. The goal is to see which approach cures more infections and causes fewer side effects.
