First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how often Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection occurs in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) at a hospital in Guadeloupe. Researchers will check stomach tissue samples from 100 adults with IBD during a routine upper endoscopy. The goal is to understand if H. pylori is more or less common in this group, which may help explain the role of gut bacteria in IBD.
