Summary

This study follows 35 people who recently had a spinal cord injury to see how their gut bacteria change over the first year. Researchers will collect blood, stool samples, and bowel function surveys at the start, 6 months, and 12 months. The goal is to understand how the gut microbiome affects metabolism and bowel health after injury.
