Summary

This study tested whether dietary supplements like potato starch and sodium butyrate can change how the body controls heart rate and breathing. Fourteen healthy adults took each supplement for four weeks. Researchers measured gut bacteria byproducts and nerve reflexes. The goal is to understand if diet can influence blood pressure through gut health.
