Summary
This study aims to understand how a standard deep cleaning treatment for advanced gum disease affects specific chemicals in the body. Researchers will measure these chemicals in the blood and gum fluid of 56 participants before and after treatment. The goal is to learn more about the body's healing and bone health response to gum therapy, not to test a new treatment.
