Looking back: does gum surgery hold up years later?

NCT ID NCT04971174

Summary

This study looked back at the results of surgeries to regenerate bone and gum tissue in patients with severe gum disease. Researchers analyzed the dental records of 126 patients who had the surgery and invited some back for a check-up 1 to 4 years later. The goal was to see how well the surgical repairs held up over time and what factors led to the best outcomes.
