First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether applying a nitroglycerin gel (commonly used for heart conditions) with ultrasound therapy can reduce pain and heel-fascia thickness in people with plantar fasciitis. About 80 adults aged 18–44 with a thickened plantar fascia and pain lasting at least 3 months will participate. The goal is to see if this combination eases symptoms better than standard care.
