New hope for hard-to-treat cancers: experimental drug targets rare gene flaw

Summary

This early-phase study tests an experimental drug called GS-5319 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have a specific gene deletion (MTAP). The goal is to find a safe dose and see how well people tolerate the drug. About 178 participants whose cancer has worsened after standard treatments will take part.
