Veterans' gulf war illness trial tests growth hormone for belly fat and symptoms

Summary
This study tests whether growth hormone replacement therapy is safe and effective for veterans with Gulf War Illness who also have a growth hormone deficiency. About 20 veterans will receive the hormone for 6 months, and researchers will measure changes in belly fat, symptoms, and heart health risks. The goal is to see if this treatment can improve health and guide a larger future study.
