New group therapy aims to ease anxiety by tackling fear of the unknown

Summary
This study is testing whether a group-based cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) program can help people with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) who struggle with uncertainty. About 12 to 20 adults with GAD will take part in 12 weekly online therapy sessions. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, worry, and tolerance of uncertainty before, after, and three months following treatment.
