Summary
This study aims to understand if COVID-19 vaccination might trigger Graves' disease, an autoimmune thyroid condition. Researchers are analyzing medical records of 161 people who developed new Graves' disease between 2020 and 2022, comparing those who had recent COVID-19 vaccination or infection to those who didn't. The goal is to see if Graves' disease that appears after vaccination looks different from typical cases.
