Summary
This study tested whether daily cookies made with golden rice and a medicinal plant (piper crocatum) could lower fasting blood sugar and improve quality of life in 102 adults with HIV who also have high blood sugar. Participants ate either the special cookies or plain control cookies for 28 days. The goal was to see if this simple food-based approach could help manage blood sugar and boost well-being.
