Summary
This study tested whether eating golden rice cookies with piper crocatum daily for 28 days could lower fasting blood sugar and improve quality of life in 102 adults with HIV who also have high blood sugar. Participants either received the special cookies or plain control cookies. The goal was to see if this simple food-based approach could help manage blood sugar and daily well-being.
