NCT ID NCT04593888
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether eating very little gluten (less than 3 grams per day) during the first three years of life can lower the chance of developing celiac disease in children who are genetically at risk. Over 1,100 children with specific genes were enrolled and followed until age 7. The goal is to see if this diet reduces the risk of celiac disease autoimmunity and full celiac disease.
