NCT ID NCT07042672

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a GLP-1 appetite suppressant (like semaglutide) to behavioral therapy helps people with severe obesity and binge eating disorder more than therapy alone. About 80 adults will be split into two groups: one gets the drug plus therapy, the other gets therapy only. Researchers will track changes in binge eating symptoms, weight, and mental health over 12 months.
