First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares four new tonometer tips that don't require numbing eye drops to the standard tip used with anesthesia. Researchers want to see which tip feels most comfortable for patients. The goal is to develop a tip that people can use at home to monitor their glaucoma. About 50 adults getting routine eye exams will rate the comfort of each tip.
