Can a simple cheek swab prevent bad drug reactions in cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT06489041

Summary

This study is testing whether a more comprehensive genetic test can help doctors prescribe safer and more effective drug doses for cancer patients. Researchers will enroll 120 adults with cancer who are already eligible for a standard genetic test related to a specific chemotherapy drug. The goal is to see if the more detailed test provides additional, useful information that changes how medications are prescribed over a 6-month period.
