NCT ID NCT02691689

First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study aims to find genes that make some people with congenital heart defects more likely to develop pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a serious lung condition. Researchers will test the DNA of 21 participants who have both a heart defect and PAH. The goal is to use genetic screening in the future to catch PAH early and start treatment sooner.
