Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with fatty liver disease (MASLD) develop serious complications like cirrhosis or liver cancer, while others do not. Researchers will analyze the complete DNA from blood and liver tissue samples of nearly 3,000 participants to look for genetic differences. The goal is to identify genetic markers that predict disease risk and find potential new targets for future treatments.
