Summary
This study is looking for genetic factors that may make some people more likely to develop a serious infection after hip or knee replacement surgery. Researchers will test DNA from 150 people in families that have had multiple infections after joint replacement. The goal is to find genes linked to higher infection risk, which could lead to personalized care to prevent infections in the future.
