First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study looks at a specific genetic variant found in about 6% of people that may raise the risk of high blood pressure, especially in men. Researchers will test 76 people with this variant and high blood pressure to see if they have a treatable condition called primary aldosteronism. The goal is to find out who might be cured by surgery. This is an observational study, not a treatment trial.
