Swedish scientists hunt for hidden cause of high blood pressure in men
NCT ID NCT07181213
Summary
This study aims to understand how a specific genetic variant is linked to high blood pressure and a condition called primary aldosteronism. Researchers are following up with 76 people from a larger Swedish health study who have both the genetic variant and high blood pressure. They want to see how many have the adrenal condition and if surgery could cure their high blood pressure.
