First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people develop a rare, serious liver disease called primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Researchers will create 3D cell models from patient samples to study how specific genetic changes affect bile duct cells. The goal is to identify genetic risk factors and test new treatments in the lab. The study involves 80 adults with or without PSC.
