One-Shot gene therapy tested for untreatable pain

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a single-dose gene therapy for people with severe, treatment-resistant nerve pain from small fiber neuropathy. The therapy, called ST-503, is injected into the spinal fluid and aims to block pain signals at their source. Researchers will first check if the treatment is safe and then see if it helps reduce participants' pain levels.
