Summary
This early-stage study is testing a one-time gene therapy called AVB-101 for people with a specific genetic form of frontotemporal dementia (FTD-GRN). The therapy is delivered directly into the brain during a single procedure, aiming to restore a missing protein and potentially slow or stop the disease's progression. Researchers will primarily check if the treatment is safe and will monitor participants for five years to see if it helps.
