Your genes could guide your psychiatric meds in new trial

NCT ID NCT05656469

Summary

This study is testing whether using a person's genetic information can help doctors choose psychiatric medications that are more effective and cause fewer side effects. It will compare this genetic-guided approach to standard medication selection in 2,500 people with mood, anxiety, or psychotic disorders. The goal is to see if this personalized method leads to better recovery and less medication burden over 24 weeks.
