NCT ID NCT04001946
Summary
This study tested a new device designed to secure gastrostomy buttons (feeding tubes) in children's stomachs. Researchers compared the new device to the standard method of using tape and gauze to see if it reduced common problems like leakage, skin irritation, and tube dislodgement. The goal was to improve comfort for children and reduce stress for caregivers by decreasing emergency visits and complications.
