Summary

This study tests whether finding and treating specific high-risk types of H. pylori bacteria can prevent stomach cancer. About 4,800 adults aged 40 and older who carry these high-risk bacteria will be followed for up to 10 years. The goal is to see if eradicating these bacteria lowers the number of new stomach cancer cases compared to standard care.
