This study looks at whether older adults (80+ or 75+ with health issues) should have their gallbladder removed after a procedure to clear bile duct stones, or simply wait and see. Researchers will track deaths, major complications, and return of gallbladder problems over one year. The goal is to find the safest and most effective approach for this age group.
