New tech aims to help stroke survivors walk better and prevent falls

Summary

This study is testing a system called GaitBetter to see if it helps people recover their walking ability after a stroke. The system combines physical movement training with brain exercises. Researchers are working with 76 stroke survivors to see if using GaitBetter improves walking speed, balance, and thinking skills, which could help prevent falls.
