Summary
This study tested whether teaching female runners with knee pain to change their running form (gait retraining) using a wearable device could reduce their pain and improve function. It compared this approach to simply providing educational information. The goal was to see if altering how they run is more effective than traditional advice for managing this common overuse injury.
