Can a simple video replace a wearable sensor for gait analysis in seniors?
NCT ID NCT07119944
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a computer program that analyzes video can reliably measure walking patterns in people aged 65 and older, compared to a special wearable sensor. Thirty participants will walk a short distance while both methods record their movements. The goal is to see if the video method is accurate enough to use in clinics or at home, potentially making gait analysis easier and more accessible.
