Common nerve drug tested for rosacea redness
NCT ID NCT06776445
Summary
This study tested if gabapentin, a medication often used for nerve pain, could reduce the persistent redness and sudden flushing associated with rosacea. It involved 50 participants with this specific skin condition and compared gabapentin's effects to a standard rosacea treatment over 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if gabapentin was effective and safe for managing these visible symptoms.
