Summary
This study looks at how fungi in the environment (like mold in homes) affect people with asthma, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), and bronchiectasis. Researchers will collect dust and sputum samples from 125 adults aged 18-80, including healthy volunteers, and track their health over 6 months. The goal is to understand which fungi are present and how they might influence disease severity, but no new treatment is being tested.
