First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Boneview helps clinicians spot fractures on X-rays more accurately. 18 doctors, nurses, and therapists reviewed 500 X-rays (half with fractures, half without) first without AI help, then with AI assistance. The goal was to see if AI improves accuracy, speed, and confidence in diagnosing broken bones.
