New drug tested to help kidney transplants last
NCT ID NCT04837092
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called FR104 in 10 people receiving their first kidney transplant from a deceased donor. The main goal was to check if the drug was safe and how the body processed it, while also seeing if it could help prevent the body from rejecting the new kidney. Participants received the drug as part of their standard anti-rejection medication plan.
