First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether foot and ankle exercises using elastic bands can prevent diabetic foot ulcers in people with diabetes and nerve damage (neuropathy). Researchers will track 80 participants to see if the exercises reduce ulcer risk, improve nerve function, blood sugar control, and walking speed. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to protect feet from serious wounds.
