Scientists test if breakfast changes a Drug's power

NCT ID NCT06996184

Summary

This early-stage study tested how eating food affects the way the body absorbs an experimental prolonged-release drug called vamifeport. It involved 28 healthy adult volunteers who took the drug once with food and once without. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to see if food changes how much of the drug gets into the system.
