Summary
This study looks at whether taking a fecal transplant (FMT) in a pill can improve symptoms of major depression and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). About 133 adults with depression, with or without IBS, will either get FMT or continue their usual treatment. The goal is to see if changing gut bacteria can ease depression and stomach issues.
