New pill aims to keep breast cancer from coming back in women with certain gene mutations

Summary
This study tests whether adding fluzoparib (a daily pill for one year) to standard treatment can help prevent breast cancer from returning in women with early-stage breast cancer who have inherited changes in HRR genes. About 334 women aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to receive either fluzoparib plus standard care or standard care alone. The main goal is to see if fluzoparib improves the time women stay cancer-free after surgery.
