Summary

This study tests whether adding dextromethorphan (a common cough suppressant) to fluoxetine (an antidepressant) can reduce symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related conditions like body dysmorphic disorder and health anxiety. About 60 adults in California will take the combination for several weeks. The goal is to see if it is safe and helps improve symptoms.
