First seen Dec 16, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a fluorescent dye called indocyanine green during surgery helps surgeons see and remove all sarcoma tissue, reducing the chance that cancer cells are left behind. About 90 adults with intermediate-to-high grade sarcoma of the trunk or limbs will take part. The main goal is to see if this technique lowers the need for a second surgery within 30 days.
