Fluid Therapy's hidden impact on sepsis survival revealed
NCT ID NCT06067516
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 44 intensive care patients with septic shock to see how giving fluids changes blood flow in tiny vessels and affects organ function. Researchers measured capillary refill time (how fast skin color returns after pressing it) and organ failure scores before and after fluid treatment. The goal was to understand if better skin blood flow leads to better organ health.
