Summary
This study aims to find a simple blood marker that can predict which children will truly benefit from receiving extra fluids after heart surgery. Currently, doctors give fluids to treat low blood pressure, but too much fluid can be harmful. The research will test if a specific blood measurement can accurately identify the children who need the fluids, helping doctors avoid unnecessary and potentially dangerous treatments.
