Mesh stent trial aims to seal off dangerous brain bulges
NCT ID NCT07376590
Summary
This study is testing whether tiny mesh tubes called flow-diverting stents can safely and effectively treat brain aneurysms. Researchers will enroll 164 adults with aneurysms in specific brain arteries to see if the stents successfully redirect blood flow away from the weakened bulge. The main goal is to see how many aneurysms are completely sealed off one year after the procedure.
