NCT ID NCT07333482
First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving parents personalized advice based on their baby's gut bacteria can improve gut health and lower the risk of conditions like eczema in infants born by C-section. Researchers will follow 250 babies from birth to age 2, comparing a group that gets full microbiome reports and coaching, a group with simpler advice, and a group that gets no results until the end. The goal is to see if targeted support can help C-section babies develop a healthier gut and reduce early allergy signs.
