Diet study tests if changing your daily calories beats a fixed plan
NCT ID NCT02736669
Summary
This study tested which type of calorie-reduction plan works better for weight loss: one with a fixed daily calorie target or one where the target varies day-to-day. Over 200 overweight or obese adults participated in a behavioral weight loss program. Researchers measured weight change, body composition, and other health markers to see which approach was more effective and easier to stick with.
