Scientists test Kids' fitness against a High-Fat shake
NCT ID NCT05230433
Summary
This study aimed to understand how a child's physical fitness level relates to their body's ability to process a high-fat meal. Researchers gave 15 children and teens a high-fat shake and measured their bodies' responses. They wanted to see if being more fit helps the body burn fat better and improves markers of metabolic health like insulin resistance.
