First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving people with type 2 diabetes a Fitbit and sending them personalized text messages can help them become more active and improve their health. About 36 adults who are not very active will wear a Fitbit and answer texts for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and liked by participants, and if it leads to better blood sugar control.
